Working with my menstrual cycle, the Wheel of the Year, and the lunar cycle have served me so well over the last 7-8 eight years. The Moon in particular supports me throughout the month in re-committing to my intentions, taking inspired action and shedding whatever doesn't support the woman I am becoming. I do my own Full and New Moon rituals, and lead The Sisterhood Of The Moon New Moon Circles online in groups and have helped numerous women to maximise their manifestation potential by allowing 'Lady Luna' to inspire their day-to-day lives. The Lunar Digest is a bi-monthly blog post sharing the main themes of the upcoming lunation, my own take on what The Moon has in store, a practice to engage with, an affirmation for The Moon, and a journaling prompt. I hope you enjoy!
The Super New Moon Eclipse in Aries - 8/4/2024
Main themes:
Quantum leaps
Ruthless selection
Bringing the masculine and feminine to harmony
Pursuing genuine connection
My take:
Here we are, STILL in eclipse season, and STILL in a Mercury retrograde! It's intense, amiright?!
But you know, we CAN harness the power of this time to facilitate our own growth and expansion. Firstly, Mercury retrograde: this is a wonderful time to digitally detox, to spend more time working solo (whether on literal 'work' projects, or doing The Work on ourselves) and to take pause instead of rushing when it comes to making big moves.
Meanwhile, the eclipse gives us to opportunity to look past the seen and instead consider the unseen. Consider that which is hidden, that which is in the shadows, that which we'd sometimes rather forget was there. While this can be tough 'it's for your own good' kind of work, now is one of the most fruitful times to do it, especially as the powerful manifestation energy of the New Moon is around us.
Some people believe that we shouldn't manifest during the eclipse season, or during a Mercury retrograde. There is a dirty little rumour out there that anything we manifest during this time will fall apart, will not be 'real', or will present more 'business' then 'pleasure'. But, if you know me, you know that while I love to use spiritual systems like astrology, numerology and oracle cards for guidance, I won't allow the words of others to disempower my own experience. Tune in during this time to your intuition, discern what feels right to make change on or give a second chance to, and step into your own personal power: whatever you manifest during this time will have YOUR energy behind it, above all else, so if you can feel that your energy is 'off' or 'on' take a break or full-steam-ahead accordingly.
One thing I will say though, is that my own personal experiences over the last couple of weeks or so have shown me that anything we feel the good vibes around, get our heads down to, and work on creating or releasing, will be a KEY CODE to our next level of evolution: I'm talking, time collapsing, beautifully synchronistic QUANTUM LEAPS baby. Look out for the signs and symbols from the Universe, and allow them to fuel your journey. Have faith, trust the intuitive hits, take inspired action, and maintain that momentum wherever possible.
As this moon falls in Aries, you might want to be mindful of keeping anything which may trigger your temper at bay... If not, the sign combined with the retrograde could result in your anger taking over and permanent damage being done (which you might not mind, if you're ready to cut a cord and burn a bridge, but let's do it classy if we can!) Instead, spend your time with others doing the things which bring you joy, and your time alone reflecting quietly. You'll thank me for this advice later!
Affirmation:
"I am the master of my own destiny. I hold my personal power steady. I am ready for quantum leaps."
Journaling prompt:
What is the dreamiest quantum leap you could make right now? Think in terms of every aspect of your life, your work, your home, your health, your finances, your relationships, your studies, your family, your creations, your spiritual practice etc. Make a list of the quantum leaps you'd love to see in each of these areas, and then consider, if someone was to promise you these leaps but said you had to leave something else behind, what would that something be?
Practice:
Grab your diary and your phone and text/call someone who brings you THE MOST joy. Ask them if they are free to see you on a day which suits, and book something super fun to do with them. Put it in the diary. Then, choose a day and time to dedicate to your own solo self-reflection practice and decide what you'd like to do for it (eg. find a meditation online, start a new journal, do a somatic movement practice, pull some cards, self-massage etc). Then, head to The Soul-Led Sisterhood Experience: Lifestyle Upgrades for Fierce Females free facebook group so we can celebrate your commitments and hold you accountable!

WELL, I don't know where to start with this month...
I guess the first thing I will say is that my book 'The Morning Meditation Challenge: 21 days to manage your mood, mind and manifestations' is now available for pre-order (in ebook format) and will be available to buy as a print version on the 15th April! So I've been dedicating A LOT of time and energy to that.
And also, my son has shifted to a new childcare setting (almost a 1-hour drive from our home!), I've been navigating some health issues, and I've been on the brink of a spiritual awakening for the last couple of days.
I wish I could say more about it all, but to be honest, I can't even begin to imagine where to start, so I'm going to sit with it all and allow it to marinate for a little while. I'm fine though, in fact, I'm better than fine. I feel assured that something is shifting and changing for the better at the moment, it is just taking me a little while to crystalize it to the sort of wisdom I love to share with you all. Once I'm ready though, you'll know.
Wishing you all of the love in the world during this mixed time <3 You're not alone, never alone.
With grace and grit,
Gabriella
