March-April Life Update
While I love for this blog to be something you can come to for guidance, wisdom and practical lifestyle tips, I also want to keep it real and update it reasonably regularly with information about what I'm going through personally.

The last month or so has been a wild ride, to say the least. I’ve really let myself feel into the ‘real world’ outside of the internet, prioritizing experiences and in-person connection instead.

In the last six weeks:
🌻 My beloved cousin Elisa died suddenly of leukemia at just 22 years old. Much of my time has been spent processing this tragedy and supporting my family as best I can (although oceans divide us).
🎂 I celebrated my 32nd birthday with a family tea party, a girly sleepover and a solo spa break in the Lake District. This is how all birthdays should be moving forwards.
❤️ I’ve dated! I’ve dated three or four guys and have for the most part enjoyed the experience. One, in particular, was really lovely although (without going into too many details) it looks like it isn’t going to work out. It has been frustrating and healing in all its own ways, so I’m keeping half-a-heart in gratitude and the other in desire for future connections.
💃 I’ve launched Red Tent groups* to the Soul-Led Sisterhood, and this has been a beautiful experience so far. With many shadow feminine wounds to grow through myself, it has been wonderful to hold space for others doing the same.
🎙️ I’ve been working on building this website and the Soul-Led Sisterhood podcast (search for it on Spotify!). My first ever business when I was around 18 years old, was a blog. I’m a passionate content creator and always have been, so the thought of having my own little corner of the internet again to share the lessons I learn in life is really lighting me up right now.
🏝️ I’ve been planning the trip of a lifetime for Walter and I. We will be spending October 2023 in the Dominican Republic, and will then be moving on to Orlando in November (restrictions permitting!) If you know me, you know travel has always been a passion of mine so now Walter is a little older and the world is waking up regarding what’s happened over the last couple of years, we are finally able to get back out on the road, which will be a huge contributor to our home education/world schooling journey.
Other things have happened too, but those feel like the biggies.
And I can’t wait to share more with y’all moving forward!
With grace and grit,
Gabriella

*The Red Tent circles run once per month in a secret location. The group is limited to just 11 women in total, and is not widely advertised. During the circles, we start with a Circle-Casting meditation, we move into group shares, partner activities, oracle readings and more, before closing out the circle and 'sealing it all in'. Topics we cover during circle are vast: nothing is taboo at the Red Tent. We have discussed our relationship with our mothers, kinks and fetishes, health and wellbeing challenges, financial struggles, fears and hopes, abortion and miscarriage, relationship issues and more. It is a safe space for women to come together and shed shame in favour of sisterhood and connection. If you'd be interested in attending one of these groups, the investment is £33 total and you can reserve your spot emailing gabriellayoga@outlook.com with 'RED TENT GROUP' as the subject heading.
